We are a 28-year-old dynamic and innovative retail company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences across 3 formats of retail in and around Chennai. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. This role requires a leader with a strong financial background and the ability to drive the companies financial strategy and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial functions of the organization, including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
• Lead the legal function of the organization, including liaising with legal counsels and advocates.
• Coordinate with lenders to gain knowledge and experience in loan settlements, documentation, pre- and post-closing activities, and related functions.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of financial and statistical reporting, including statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, and other statutory and management reporting for management and regulatory agencies.
• Provide senior management with insights into the organization's financial condition and facilitate the setting of annual financial goals and targets for the organization with senior staff.
• Forecast cash flow, give effective budgets, and manage funds in an efficient manner to best achieve organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Qualification - Certified Chartered Accountant
• At least 10 years of experience in finance and accounts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Experience in managing teams and leading projects.
