JOB TITLE: Senior Technical Consultant-Java Fullstack

JOB SUMMARY:

A Senior Technical Consultant at Argano is an experienced technical professional responsible for mid to large scale software development tasks as part of client projects. They are responsible for delivering quality work independently on mid-size to large client projects. They work as part of a team and participate in code reviews under the direction of more experienced consultants on larger workstreams. They have demonstrated their ability to work with high quality on substantial project tasks independently. This position is responsible for the identification of features, design, development, unit testing, and validation support of applications, processes, and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

5 to 8 years of demonstrated experience in Java development( Emphasis on Core Java Development).

Proficient in fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and experience in working with frameworks like Angular/React.

Experience with both relational databases (Oracle) and NoSQL technologies, and an understanding of the differences and advantages of each approach.

Good experience with Java 8 and Spring.

Experience with Spring Boot / Spring MVC along with predominant experience in Java development. - Experience in various transfer protocols (SFTP, HTML, XML) and Web Services / APIs (REST and SOAP).

Recent work experience in Micro-services.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Git or Jenkins.

Experience with automated testing in various forms. Selenium preferred.

A bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Proficient oral and written communication skills.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field .

Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 to 8 years of Technical Consultant experience or in related field.
• Knowledge of relevant technologies and systems.
• Previous work experience with programming, coding or and software development.
• Experience developing technical solutions leveraging version control and adherence to life cycle management best practices for code promotion.
• Experience in delivering technology solutions, web development experience working on X platform.
• Experience implementing full cycle projects, data, and site migration.
