Technical Consultant - SAP CPQ

JOB TITLE: Technical Consultant

Experience Required: 2+ Years

Location Hyderabad/ Pune/ Hybrid/ Remote

Responsibilities:

• Works on problems of small to moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine and take appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Assists with analyzing small to large-size client requirements and provides ideas for designs of comprehensive technical solutions.
• Assists with the Design and implementation of solutions. Helps gather and analyze requirements with business owners and organizes discussions and infrastructure requirement analysis to meet the defined business criteria.
• Works closely with team members on the development of the SAP CPQ application and assists with necessary integrations. Participates in the discovery meetings to learn what data will be flowing between systems and the best way to organize and store that data in the project applications.
• Participates in meetings with Project Managers and other team members to determine client needs and implements the SAP CPQ application.
• Assists with writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in IronPython and SQL.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of Technical Consultant experience or in related field.
• Experience implementing SAP CPQ software and integrations or administering SAP CPQ sites.
• Experience working with technical solutions leveraging version control and adherence to life cycle management best practices for code promotion.
• Previous work experience with programming, coding and/or software development.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Nice to have: SAP CPQ Implementation Certification

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in IronPython. SQL is a plus.
• Software Development: Understanding of software development and coding principles.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative coding workflows.
• Documentation: Proficiency in documenting code, functional requirements, and system architecture to facilitate maintenance and collaboration.
• Leadership:Experience taking control of tasks assigned to them (collaborating with teammates when needed) and completing them in a given timeline.
• SAP CPQ: Experience implementing SAP CPQ on small to large-size projects or acting as administrator for a SAP CPQ site.
