Area Sales Manager

Job Overview: As an E-Commerce & Quick-Commerce Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the companys presence on third-party digital platforms, including e-commerce and quick-commerce channels. You will oversee product listings, manage sales performance, build strategic partnerships, and drive the digital sales strategy for the companys portfolio. This is an individual contributor role where you will independently manage the end-to-end process of online sales, from partnership development to monitoring and optimizing product sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Management: Develop, implement, and manage the companys e-commerce and quick-commerce accounts (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.).
• Product Listings & Catalog Management: Create and optimize product listings, ensuring accurate and attractive presentation of company products, including images, descriptions, pricing, and promotions.
• Sales Monitoring & Reporting: Track sales performance on various platforms, analyze trends, identify opportunities for growth, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Partnership Development: Build and nurture relationships with third-party e-commerce platforms to ensure optimal visibility and sales performance for the company’s products.
• Sales Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize sales through the platforms, including promotions, advertising, and strategic placements.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate product availability and timely stock replenishment.
• Customer Engagement: Monitor customer reviews and feedback, ensuring a positive brand experience, and work on strategies for customer retention and satisfaction.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with e-commerce and quick-commerce trends, competitor activities, and platform-specific algorithms and tools.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of product launches and promotions across digital platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in managing e-commerce or quick-commerce accounts, ideally within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of online marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, BigBasket, Zepto etc.).
• Experience with product listing optimization, inventory management, and online sales strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and optimize performance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain partnerships.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, marketplace dashboards, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for e-commerce and digital sales.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with paid advertising on e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon PPC, Flipkart Ads).
• Familiarity with e-commerce SEO and best practices for product visibility.
