Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Hearing Aid Products: Deep understanding of different types of hearing aids, their features, and how they address specific hearing challenges.
• Audiology Basics: Familiarity with audiology concepts and the hearing impairment landscape, enabling better communication with healthcare providers and customers.
• Sales Strategy: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to meet company targets and objectives.
• Territory Management: Effective management of the sales area, including understanding local markets and customer needs.
• Target Achievement: Demonstrating a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of customer needs and delivering value through products and services.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area to meet with clients and sales teams.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Experience in Medical Devices or Healthcare Industry: Candidates with prior experience in selling or marketing medical devices, especially hearing aids, or in the broader healthcare sector, will have an advantage.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex products to both healthcare professionals and end-users (patients).
• Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on understanding the needs of people with hearing impairments and offering the best solutions.
• Knowledge of Audiology and Hearing Care: Even in sales, understanding basic audiology concepts is helpful.
• Network in Audiology or ENT Practices: Relationships with audiologists, otolaryngologists, or healthcare providers are valuable.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Addressing customer issues and adapting solutions based on their specific needs.
• Technical Aptitude: Willingness and ability to understand and explain the technical aspects of hearing aids, software, and associated products.
