Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

Manage supplier relationships, assess performance, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Inventory Management:

Maintain optimal levels of inventory to meet production or operational needs while minimizing carrying costs.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste, overstock, and stockouts.
Cost Control:

Monitor and control procurement costs, aiming to optimize spending and reduce overall expenses.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, such as bulk purchases, supplier consolidation, and more.
Compliance:

Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Keep updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting procurement and material management.
Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality products, and cost-effectiveness.
Continuously assess and re-evaluate vendor performance.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, contracts, and agreements.
Prepare reports and analysis related to procurement activities.
Forecasting:

Collaborate with various departments to forecast material and supply needs.
Develop and implement strategies to ensure the availability of required resources.
