Architect

An architect, or architectural designer, is responsible for designing and planning new builds. Their job description includes:

• Client communication: Meeting with clients to discuss design requirements, and negotiating with contractors
• Design: Sketching designs and applying different design processes to meet client needs
• Project management: Keeping track of project details, material lists, cost analysis, and progress
• Architectural knowledge: Being familiar with various architectural movements and understanding the art and science of architecture
• Communication skills: Having excellent communication and customer service skills
• Creativity: Being creative to shape unique designs

Architects should also have project management experience, and be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at once.
