- To mitigate foreign currency risk, the individual is expected to develop hedging strategies that deliver margin protection and minimize exposures related to currencies and other related matters.
- Be the focal point with banks in terms of understanding hedging strategies to be deployed and jointly manage its execution with the HoT.
- Draft policies, model impacts of hedges and keep abreast of all developments in markets.
- Prepare reports and presentations as and when required.
- Treasury accounting experience
- Have a more broader treasury experience to look at other aspects such as cash flow management, treasury tools and other projects related to an inhouse treasury function.
- Understand and recommend options for trapped cash, currencies in volatile markets and other related currency matters.
- Interest swaps, derivatives working knowledge.
Experience and Education
- 50% banking experience and 50% in-house preferred.
- Excel and ppt skills
- Good communicator
- Modelling in excel and understanding of hedging and working knowledge is a must.
- Ability to understand market data and complex trends.
