Hiring for US Voice Process with excellent US Accent
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work remotely to assist healthcare providers in documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate electronic health records. Your primary responsibility is answering phone calls from patients, checking faxes, entering laboratory and imaging data, care coordinating, and referring patients to other doctors. This role requires strong attention to detail, high English proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Role & responsibilities
1) Health care Assistant works on Remote(Work from Home) and reports to the Team Lead
2) Review and verify the accuracy of the information in the patient's progress notes and make necessary corrections.
3) Ensure efficient scheduling and maintaining patient appointments through proper coordination with the patients
4) Maintain quality communication with patients for appointment reminders, schedules, follow ups and any inquiries.
5) Coordinate both the incoming and outgoing patient referrals over the call.
6) Expedite all backend operations including incoming/outgoing faxes, prior authorizations, lab reports, chart preparation, etc.
7) Manage and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality
8) Accurately assign and encode billing codes by insurance guidelines for each patient's progress notes.
9) Ensure that all performed procedures are appropriately documented and encoded in the patient's progress notes.
10) Conduct a thorough review of posted results to identify and report any discrepancies.
11) Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.
Preferred candidate profile
KEY COMPETENCIES:
1) High proficiency in English (US Accent added advantage).
2) Experience in handling EHR/EMR medical softwares will be added advantage
3) A typing speed of at least 50 wpm and the ability to accurately handle large volumes of data efficiently
4) Proficiency in MS Office, including Electronic Medical Records, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
5) Understanding of customer service principles to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
Desirable Requirements:
1. Back Office support experience in healthcare related organizations are preferred
2. Work experience in US shift
3. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
4. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
5. Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
6. Strong attention to detail
7. Assure the accuracy of all documentation and records
