SAP Dev Lead - ABAP & Fiori (10-20 yrs)

The Role:

The candidate must have end to end implementation and development experience of ABAP and Fiori with AMS.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Solution Design:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom SAP solutions using technologies such as ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and other relevant tools.

- Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Provide technical leadership to the development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.

- Oversee the development of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects in alignment with AMS processes.

AMS Service Delivery & Support:

- Manage day-to-day AMS development activities, including incident resolution, change requests, enhancements, and performance tuning.

- Ensure that all development activities are completed on time and meet service level agreements (SLAs).

- Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot complex issues related to SAP applications (ECC6/S/4HANA) and provide timely resolutions.

- Oversee the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities in collaboration with the AMS team.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead a team of onshore/offshore SAP developers responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers to enhance their skills in SAP development.

- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality standards are met and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

- Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers.

Process Improvement & Innovation:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the AMS development lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

- Implement best practices for software development lifecycle (SDLC) management within the SAP AMS environment.

- Stay up-to-date with new developments in SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5) and recommend innovative solutions that align with business needs.

- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

- Serve as a key point of contact for business stakeholders regarding technical aspects of SAP AMS services.

- Provide regular updates on project progress, incident resolutions, and system enhancements to senior management.

- Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand evolving business needs and ensure that technical solutions align with these requirements.

Skills Required:

- ABAP and Fiori Developer with AMS Experience. 4/5

- ECC & S/4 expertise, Multiple Modules (SD,FI, MM) - 4/5

- Experience in AMS tracking (Jira/servicenow) and client facing skills- 3/5

Qualifications & Experience:

- Will have at least 10+ years of experience

- Any Graduate
