Cloud Engineer - AWS Platform (6-10 yrs)

The Role:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications and services on AWS. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and has a strong technical background in AWS Lambda, Glue, PySpark, SNS/SQS and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Python to meet business and technical requirements.

- Analyze and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, Lambda functions, data processing, and web services, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous service availability.

- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including schema design, query optimization, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and data integrity.

- Implement AWS Step Functions to orchestrate and automate complex workflows involving multiple AWS services, ensuring seamless coordination between services.

- Design, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark for data extraction, transformation, and loading across large-scale datasets.

- Implement and manage AWS SNS (Simple Notification Service) and SQS (Simple Queue Service) to support event-driven architectures, messaging, and task queuing across distributed systems.

Skills Required :

- AWS Services: Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, SNS/SQS.

- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing and automation.

- Database: Expertise in PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of Oracle.

- Web Services: Experience in API Development and managing web services in AWS.

- Cloud Infrastructure: Knowledge of cloud architecture and resource optimization in AWS.

Qualifications & Experience :

Qualifications : Bachelors degree in technology, Business, Accounting or Finance

Experience : 6-9 years
