The Modern Data Pipeline (MDP) team focuses on building data pipeline solutions for IKS
Health spanning across various technical skills and supporting IKS products and multiple
businesses for both Clinical and Revenue services.
We are a group of passionate data engineers, analysts and system engineers, focused on
developing and implementing the data pipelines for transforming the experience of Operation
unit and enabling them to give a better experience for business upliftment. In addition to
performing this technical work, the team also uses their interpersonal, communication, and
organizational skills to work with various internal and external stakeholders and to drive each
project toward completion.

What will you be responsible for

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, coding, testing and deploying the pipelines.
Should be responsible for developing and maintaining the quality of the pipeline and its functional
& non-functional requirements.
Analyzing data and requirements to determine what will be needed to successfully build and test
the pipeline connections for a seamless data flow.
Coordinate testing with clients and internal teams to ensure the functional and non-functional
requirements are met before go-live.
Continuously learn and adopt the ETL/Cloud technologies - e.g., Delta Lake, Iceberg, Data
Fabric, DataOps, Data Mesh, Streaming Data Processing, Data Governance etc
Create a strong documentation repository for each module, customers and for all the phases of
development/delivery life cycle.
Deliver data-driven & complex solutions with a customer-first mindset with multicultural and global
teams in different time zones.
Be a critical member for the self organized, cross-functional team that follows the best practices
of Agile methodology.

What would your day look like
Data Pipeline development: Coding, Testing, Deploying, and Monitoring.
Understanding the domain, functional and non-functional feature requirements.
Create, and contribute to the Data Pipeline Artifacts : Deployment, Ingestion and Transformation
logics, Data Flow diagrams and others.
Deliver high quality user stories to the internal QA team by following Agile best practices and
support pre and post go-live process.
Proactive measures in resolving the possible issues in the feature being worked.
Write and automate Unit Tests, ensuring code quality and code coverage.
Ensure code is always checked in and source control standards are strictly followed.
Support leads and MDP team with technical updates/progress.

Who are we looking for
The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in developing on Cloud Environment.
Masters/Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in working using data components like Apache Beam, PySpark,
Serverless Offering from Cloud (like Lambda, Cloud Functions), Data Warehouse, ETL
Orchestration Tools (like Apache Airflow, Control-M)
Experience in any of the Cloud Platforms (preferably Google Cloud)
Proficient in SQL and working knowledge on NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL,
MongoDB, Redis).
Must be able to code in at least 2 programming languages with proficiency in at least one
language, preferably Python.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and data as a service concepts.
Basic understanding of RDBMS and Data Modeling concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with excellent written & verbal communication
skills.
Ready to work with multicultural and global teams in different time zones.
Has been part of complex technical development and migration projects from concept to
completion.
Significantly contributed in implementing scalable systems capable of handling high volumes of
data and traffic.
Nice to have experience: Exposure to Healthcare industry with understanding of lifecycle and
terminologies
