You will be responsible for evaluating gold jewelry and assets provided as collateral, determining loan eligibility, and ensuring efficient loan processing while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:Gold Appraisal: Manage the appraisal of gold jewelry and assets provided as collateral by customers to determine their value and authenticity.Loan Processing: Oversee the gold loan application and approval process, ensuring timely and accurate loan disbursements.Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to explain the gold loan process, eligibility criteria, and terms and conditions.Risk Assessment: Evaluate the risk associated with gold loans, including assessing the purity and quality of gold assets.Compliance: Ensure that all gold loan operations are conducted in compliance with relevant financial and lending regulations.Documentation: Oversee the proper documentation and record-keeping of gold loan transactions and collateral.Loan Repayment: Monitor and manage loan repayment processes, including interest calculation and reminders to borrowers.Security: Implement security measures to safeguard the gold assets stored at the branch or facility.Team Management: Manage a team of gold loan appraisers and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on gold loan operations, portfolio quality, and performance.Business Development: Identify opportunities for expanding the gold loan portfolio and promoting gold loan services.
