Mep Draughtsman

Role & responsibilities

As a MEP Draftsman, you'll be responsible for preparation of shop drawings across Swimming Pool, Plumbing, Drainage, electrical, etc. which also includes design works, Quantity take off, preparation of as-built drawings, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Prepares clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes by performing the following duties for MEP Projects
• Makes drawing adjustments or changes as directed by the engineering management.
• Utilize knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
• Visually compares the design of components or other equipment with the drawing of parts, matching coordinating points for accuracy of fit.
• Prepare Mechanical Shop Drawing, Plan, Section, Schematic Diagram, Schedule of equipment, and Installation Details
• Makes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project
• Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings
• Draws charts for representation of statistical data
• Draws finished designs from sketches
• Revise and resubmit commented drawings.
• Prepare As-built Drawing for project documentation

Your Qualifications
• Diploma/Degree Holder in Engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical)
• Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit , MS Office
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written)

• Adept with computer aided design
• Strong team player, equally strong working individually
• Extensive knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings
