SAP PP Consultant - SD/WM Modules (7-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP PP Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP PP processes and configuration, and will be able to contribute to all phases of SAP implementation projects.

This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Configuration :

- Design, configure, and test SAP PP functionality to meet business requirements.

- This includes configuring master data (BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions), planning processes (MRP, MTO, MTS), and execution processes (Planned Orders, Production Orders).

Implementation & Support :

- Participate in SAP implementation projects, from requirements gathering and blueprinting to configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.

- Provide post-implementation support to clients, resolving issues and optimizing system performance.

Business Process Analysis :

- Analyze client business processes related to production planning.

- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions using SAP best practices.

Requirements Gathering :

- Elicit and document business requirements from clients.

- Translate these requirements into functional specifications for SAP configuration and development.

Testing & Documentation :

- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of SAP solutions.

- Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Training & User Support :

- Develop and deliver training to end-users on SAP PP functionality.

- Provide ongoing support to users, answering questions and resolving issues.

Integration :

- Collaborate with other SAP consultants (e., MM, SD, WM) to ensure seamless integration between modules.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP releases and functionalities.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Required Skills and Experience :

SAP PP Expertise :

- Hands-on experience in SAP PP module, including configuration and support.

Functional Knowledge :

- Solid understanding of core PP processes, such as MRP, MTO, MTS, production order processing, and master data management.

Implementation Experience :

- Experience participating in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation is preferred.

Technical Skills :

- Ability to configure SAP PP functionality and perform basic troubleshooting.

- ABAP knowledge is a plus.

Analytical Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills :

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Teamwork :

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- Experience with specific industry solutions (e., automotive, manufacturing).

- Knowledge of other SAP modules (e., MM, SD, WM).

- Experience with S/4HANA.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

- SAP certification is a plus
