QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Execute and manage test cases, ensuring optimal coverage for critical features.
• Conduct API testing to validate endpoints, data flows, and integrations.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or similar.
• Implement best practices in test automation and CI/CD processes.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience with TestNG or similar frameworks.
• Good understanding of API testing (Postman, REST, SOAP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
