Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant development and support experience

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in at least one Object Oriented programming language.

• Strong foundation in JavaScript programming.

• Advanced Java application development experience.

• Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.

• Solid understanding of troubleshooting and problem analysis procedures; ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

• Experience in using/extending REST Services.

• Experience developing integrations between software applications preferred.

• Experience developing with the Groovy language and libraries and/or knowledge of the methodologies and processes used in designing, constructing, testing, implementing, and optimizing web applications.

• Working experience in tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub and Jenkins.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a well-maintained GitHub repository showcasing work.

• Participation in coding challenges or competitions such as Hacker Rank, Code wars, or similar platforms.

• Experience in developing custom solutions for Jira and Confluence.

• Database administration experience.

• Experience with using GitHub in a development environment.

• Knowledge of UI framework testing tools.

• Experience in Testing methodologies and Agile development methodologies.

• Experience working asynchronously with ones team and the ability to deliver work independently.

Job Title: Software Developer / QA

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing mission critical enterprise solutions and implementation of custom application development.

• Develop scripts and plugins for Jira and Confluence.

• Act as a technical contact to troubleshoot any issues occurring on our tools.

• Integrate GitHub, Jira or other tools with internal and external services and systems.

• Analyze, understand and debug legacy software.

• Ability to provide technical assistance during major application upgrades.

Develop, write, and execute test scripts for integration, regression and usability testing across multiple platforms and environments.

• Designing frameworks from scratch. 

• Analyzing Jira stories to prepare test scenarios and validate acceptance criteria in tickets.

• Track and manage defects, taking ownership, and seeing them through to completion.

• Ensuring that all test-related activities to be undertaken are mapped to business requirements. • Work with the technical team on implementing test automation across the projects.

• Report Defects to development teams.

• Flexible to work on UK shift timings.
