Job Description: Informatica Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Informatica Administrator to manage the installation, configuration, and administration of Informatica products, including PowerCenter (PC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), and Master Data Management (MDM), across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in server patching, vulnerability assessment (VA) points closure, and expertise in migrating jobs between environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Informatica Installation and Configuration:
• Install, configure, and maintain Informatica components such as PowerCenter, IDQ, and MDM on both on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Ensure optimal performance and availability of Informatica services.
• Server Maintenance and Security:
• Perform server patching and apply updates to maintain system stability and security.
• Identify and address vulnerability assessment (VA) points and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Migration and Deployment:
• Migrate Informatica jobs, mappings, and workflows across development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure smooth transition and validate successful deployment.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging:
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Informatica components, including job failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
• Collaborate with development teams to address data integration and ETL challenges.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on system health and issues.
