HV Application Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Application Engineering Support

• Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams on the application of high-voltage equipment and systems.
• Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and offer tailored high-voltage solutions.
• Assist in designing system layouts, selecting appropriate products, and ensuring proper integration of high-voltage equipment.

Product Configuration and Customization

• Configure and specify high-voltage equipment, ensuring that products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Work with R&D and engineering teams to develop and customize high-voltage solutions for new applications.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, including system design specifications, schematics, and user manuals.

Testing and Validation

• Conduct system-level testing of high-voltage equipment and solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and safety.
• Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting of high-voltage systems, identifying issues and providing solutions.
• Collaborate with testing teams to verify that systems meet performance standards and pass safety certifications.

Technical Sales Support

• Provide technical assistance to the sales team during the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and system sizing.
• Assist in creating technical proposals, pricing models, and solution designs that align with customer needs.
• Support customer meetings and deliver presentations to explain high-voltage products and systems.

Customer Training and Support

• Train customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-voltage systems.
• Offer post-sales technical support, resolving any issues or questions related to high-voltage applications.
• Provide recommendations for system optimization, upgrades, and future product releases.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards related to high-voltage systems and applications.
• Contribute to product improvements by providing feedback based on customer interactions and application experiences.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification Required BE Electrical (Degree)
• Minimum 2 Years of experience is required
• Understanding of Electrical Testing & Measurement for Power Sector
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, including design, application, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with electrical testing, diagnostics, and system integration.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to customer needs
