Engineering Manager - SaaS Product Development (7-15 yrs)

Job Description :

1. Should be ready to work from office at Bangalore

2. Prior experience in developing B2B/SaaS/Enterprise Software Product MANDATORY

3. Should have 7+ years of experience with at least 3 years as an Engineering Manager

4. Should have designed and delivered: Open Source based Enterprise Software

5. Software based on Java, Angular JS, ReactJS, Python, no-SQL databases, Elastic, Kubernetes.

6. Solutions in the Cloud (AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP))

7. Must have experience with Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes

8. Delivered multiple releases of products using Agile Development

9. Lead Product Development, QA and Documentation for multiple Enterprise level Products

10. Deliver Engineering Product Releases and Patches

11. Provide work break-down and be responsible for all Engineering Team deliverables

12. Interact with team members and ensure timely and successful delivery of each sprint iteration

13. Provide Technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to Engineering Team

14. Be responsible for tools and processes for all Engineering activities

15. Work with Product Management and help shape Product roadmap

16. Work with Services Organization and set right expectations with regards to Product Roadmap, delivery of enhancements and patches

17. Define and manage quarterly goals for Engineering Team

18. Manage Engineering budget, incentive programs and team building activities

19. Hire and manage Product Development, QA and Documentation Team members

20. Played the roles of Scrum Master

21. Delivered Artifacts like Design/Test-Plan/Documentation-Plan documents

22. Delivered performance reviews, improvement plans to team members

23. Should have completed a 4-year Engineering degree in Computer Science (preferably) or an advanced degree
