Vice President - Data Governance (10-18 yrs)

Job Opening for Vice President - Data Governance (Domestic)

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.

- To set up policies and frameworks to govern data ownership, data quality metrics, data categorization, privacy and protection, data access management etc.

- To ensure compliance with data governance policies and various applicable regulatory and industry best practices guidelines e.g. DPDP Act, Aadhaar Act 2016, outsourcing guidelines etc.

- Oversee data quality initiatives and data stewardship activities.

- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure data integrity and security.

- Monitor and report on data governance metrics and performance,

- To handle required internal risk assessments of the process and controls thereof

- To ensure inter-departmental coordination between various internal stakeholders

- Provide training and support to data stewards and other stakeholders.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data governance

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role.

- Overall experience of around 10-13 years of experience

- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.

- Experience with data quality management and data stewardship.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
