Lab and Equipment Maintenance

• Regularly inspect, maintain, and ensure the smooth functioning of all computer systems, peripherals, and networking equipment in the lab.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and address technical issues promptly.
• Monitor the inventory of IT hardware and software, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.

Desktop Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and other IT devices.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and antivirus programs.
• Ensure proper cabling, connections, and functionality of IT equipment.

Student and Staff Support

• Provide hands-on support to students during lab sessions, ensuring they can effectively use the available resources.
• Assist teachers in setting up IT tools and resources required for classroom activities and projects.
• Address queries related to IT usage and provide guidance on basic troubleshooting techniques.

Compliance and Security

• Ensure compliance with the schools IT policies and data security protocols.
• Regularly back up critical data and implement measures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Maintain a safe and organized environment in the computer lab, adhering to health and safety standards.
