Fashion Content Writer & Video Editor - USA Based Digital Magazine

Hybrid - One month work from home and then you will work from our office in New Delhi

A digital magazine headquarters in Los Angeles, USA with office in New Delhi. Ideal candidate is flexible, self-motivated, and interested in learning all aspects of helping in the growth of the magazine. We are looking for highly motivated Content Writers to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for writing and strong research skills. This is an opportunity for an influential content writer who enjoys developing engaging SEO-focused content.

Should have great command over English. Grammatically correct English is one of the most important requirements for this job.

Candidates should be comfortable covering a variety of topics relevant to celebrity, entertainment, fashion, beauty, health, runway, business, Finance, AI, crypto etc. We expect the candidate to be able to write about any topic that is delegated to them. A background in journalism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You should be able to work independently, exercise excellent judgment, and manage projects from start to finish with minimal guidance.
• Background in fashion & business writing.
• Proven work experience as a content writer.
• Strong storytelling skills that create engaging business content.
• Highly proficient research and writing skills.
• Data-driven with a high attention to detail.
• A demonstrated interest in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, business, entertainment space.
• 0-5 years of journalism and writing experience, ideally with a reporting background
• A strong voice and innovative ideas
• Pitch-perfect news judgement
• Excellent research skills
• Write between three to four articles per shift in keeping with our magazine's voice and style
• Write snappy and creative headlines
• Create SEO-focused content
• Meet tight deadlines without exception
• Work on strict deadlines and prioritize your tasks
• Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

• MUST BE proficient in English
• Comfortable taking on complex research assignments
• Can provide writing samples of web content or blog articles
• Possess a work hard/play hard attitude
• Proficient in Canva
• Proficient in Capcut
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro

Additional requirements:

• At least some content writing experience
• Minimum qualification - Graduated from a prestigious university
• Flawless grammar, spelling, and usage
• A basic understanding of Photoshop and HTML (more than basic is a plus)
