Job Description
A Business Development Executive works to improve an organization s market position and achieve financial growth. BDE defines short-term and long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties : - Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events (If any)
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to a diverse audience, including clients and stakeholders.
- Sales and negotiation skills: Expertise in closing deals, negotiating contracts, and building long-term client relationships.
- Project management skills: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Networking skills: Ability to build and maintain professional relationships within the industry.
- Tech-savviness: Understanding of the latest IT trends and technologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge to business development efforts.
