Job Description
A s an A ssociate Software Engineer at Anthology, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions to the higher education community , specifically for our CRM, Reach . This role requires collaboration, analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance to ensure the best possible outcomes for our products
Primary will include:
- C od ing and perform ing unit testing of enhancements in the Product Suite
- S tabilization and maintenance of the Product Suite, analyzing root causes of issues, and suggesting areas for improvement
- A ctively participat ing in SCRUM ceremonies, providing constructive suggestions and input
- D evelop ing testable, reusable, efficient, and legible code for enhancements in the Product Suite
- Analyzing business requirements , discussing impacted areas, and provid ing viable technical solutions and provid ing multiple alternatives to resolve issues/areas of concern
- Actively contribut ing to team commitments
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- BE/BTech/MCA degree or above in C omputer S cience/ IT or equivalent functional experience
- 0-2 years of experience in commercial software d evelopment in a SaaS-based company
- A pplication development experience using:
- C++
- MFC
- Understanding of OOPS concept, Multi-threading , etc .
- Understanding of RDBMS/SQL concepts
- Proven experience in software development and a solid understanding of programming concepts
- Good a nalytical skills
- Debugging and t roubleshooting s kills
- Strong coding skills, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Familiarity with SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
- Team player
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English
