Sr. Electrical Draughtsman/Sr. Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Set up projects in AutoCAD and REVIT using company standards. • Prepare AutoCAD and REVIT drawings from markups, sketches, and verbal direction. • Drafting single-line diagrams from markups. • Prepare and edit panel schedules from markups using Excel. • Create organized and accurate drawings. • Manage electronic files. • Self-check work for accuracy. • Create PDF and printed sets of drawings for review. • Managing, editing, and creating AutoCAD blocks, including dynamic blocks. • Managing, editing, and creating REVIT families.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills including proficiency with model/paper space, Xrefs, layer management, line weights, importing files, block creation including dynamic blocks, exporting PDFs, batch plotting, and all other aspects necessary to complete construction documents.
• Proficiency with Revit including electrical systems, family creation and modification, and schedules.
• Accurately draft markups into AutoCAD and REVIT.
