Head - Infrastructure & Operations (10-15 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Head of Infrastructure and Operations to lead and execute our IT infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will not only set the strategic direction but also actively implement solutions alongside their team. They should have a strong passion for technology and solutions delivery, with desirable experience in team management and a strong sense of self-reflection. A background in cloud platforms, infrastructure management, and incident recovery is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily using Azure or AWS.

- Oversee on-premises IT operations and the migration of services to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Ensure effective collaboration with suppliers and hosting partner.

- Manage our endpoints to maintain security and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement incident management and disaster recovery plans.

- Monitor and patch cloud services to enhance performance and control costs.

- Optimize infrastructure performance and cost efficiency through continuous improvement practices.

- Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure management and operations.

- Provide leadership and direction to the IT operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.

Job Requirements :

1. Proven experience with cloud services, particularly Azure or AWS.

2. Experience managing on-premises infrastructure and migrating services to the cloud.

3. Basic knowledge of server infrastructure and operations.

4. Demonstrated expertise in incident management and disaster recovery, working collaboratively with security teams.

5. Experience with patch management of cloud services and performance optimization.

6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality IT services.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (

- Relevant certifications in cloud services (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
