Assistant Manager-Content & Copywriting

Responsibilities:-

• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
• Generating ideas for new content types.
• Developing content for blogs, articles, IT services, social media, and the company website.
• Assisting the marketing team in creating content for advertising campaigns.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy to capture the attention of the target audience.
• Conceiving well-researched, creative, and original content.
• Developing relevant technical and non-technical content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, blogs, social media platforms, and more.
• Taking complete ownership of the content lifecycle of a project.
• Having the aptitude to work in different domains and grasp the technology.
• Understanding the needs of each readership.
• Performing editorial and pre-publication reviews of peer-developed content, providing recommendations for improvement in spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, and engagement.

Candidate Must Have:-

• Relevant industry experience in technical and non-technical writing.
• A portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.
• Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends.
• Ability to create original and creative content with a keen eye for detail, out-of-the-box thinking, and offbeat ideas.
• Strong research skills.
• Understanding of social media.
• Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable content for readers.
• Well-versed with Microsoft Word, Grammarly, and other relevant tools.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a technically-focused content writer within an IT organization.
• Experience working closely with marketing teams, providing content marketing leadership, coordination, and content development.
• Awareness of plagiarism laws.
• Excellent writing/editing skills, with a focus on creating easy-to-understand material.
