Job Description
AM communication is looking for Translator / Copy Editor / Proof Reader to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Review written content, including articles, manuscripts, reports, marketing materials, and website copy, to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax
- Verify consistency in style, formatting, and terminology throughout documents, adhering to specified style guides (eg, AP Stylebook, Chicago Manual of Style)
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards
- Use proofreading marks and annotation tools to indicate corrections and suggestions for improvement
- Ensure clarity, coherence, and consistency in written communication, making revisions as needed to enhance readability and effectiveness
- Conduct fact-checking and cross-referencing of information to verify accuracy and credibility
- Maintain awareness of industry-specific terminology, trends, and conventions to provide informed feedback and suggestions
- Adhere to confidentiality agreements and privacy policies when handling sensitive or proprietary information
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to address questions, concerns, and feedback regarding proofreading tasks
- Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks according to project urgency and importance
