Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineer Required Skills

• Should have strong critical thinking and problem-solving and Managerial skills, as well as the ability to interact well with many people.
• Experience in Electrical Projects/maintenance or Automation in Chemical/pharma or power plant or Continues process industries with automation.
• Shall have the capacity of being able to read and interpret drawings like P&ID, Electrical control schematic drawing, Instrument hook up drawing, IOS list, PLC communication network.
• Knowledge of control logic write-up and PLC/HMI Programming, Testing of automation and control panel and Document preparation related to control panel
• I.e. GA drawing preparation, IOs list preparation, BOM for control panel, Hardware and PLC selection criteria.
• Awareness of AutoCAD will be advantageous but not mandatory.
• They should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to discuss with client or project team.
• Knowledge of various PLC/SCADA/VFD, Instruments type and technology, Electrical hardware selection criteria,
• Awareness of SIEMENS/DELTA/SCHNEIDER/FUGI PLC/HMI, PLC communication protocol and data exchange between PLC/HMI with communication channels.
• Optional knowledge for Gas Engines, DCS

Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

• Traveling to clients' locations.
• Meeting with internal department to discuss instrumentation/electrical automation needs.
• Preparing /review of P&ID diagram, instrument selection criteria, instrument technical data sheet.
• Troubleshooting system errors.
• Overseeing the successful installation of Instruments/automation.
• Providing clients with technical support.
• Prepare and maintain electrical testing records, electrical maintenance records, testing processes and checklists. Electrical load calculation for projects
• General factory electrical maintenance and support to Customer Services team.
