As we continue our journey of growth and excellence, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced **Assistant General Manager - Project Sales** to lead and drive our project sales efforts.
Job Summary:
The AGM - Project Sales will be responsible for managing and expanding project-based sales activities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills who can develop sales strategies, mentor a team, and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and pursue new project sales opportunities across various sectors, including hospitality, commercial, and residential.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, consultants, and project managers to secure business for Ankur Lighting.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
Project Management and Coordination
- Oversee the end-to-end project sales cycle, from lead generation to order fulfillment and after-sales support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project requirements.
- Resolve project-related challenges, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Team Leadership and Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the project sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Provide regular training and guidance to enhance the team's skills and product knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Customer Relationship Management
- Foster long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Act as a primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of service.
- Address and resolve client concerns or escalations promptly and effectively.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including performance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Collaboration and Strategic Alignment
- Work closely with the marketing team to align project sales initiatives with marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the R&D and design teams to provide client feedback and suggest product improvements.

Key Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project sales, preferably in the lighting, construction, or related industries.
