Edoofa - Head - International Student Welfare & Experience (6-10 yrs)

The objective of the role:

As the Head of International Student Welfare and Experience, you will take on a senior leadership role in shaping and managing the overall student welfare framework for African students across our partner campuses. This position involves strategic oversight, team management, stakeholder engagement, and direct intervention in the academic and non-academic aspects of the student experience, ensuring a smooth and fulfilling journey for our students.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide high-level counseling and mentorship to help students navigate the complexities of a culturally diverse environment, ensuring they can adapt and thrive both academically and socially.

- Lead initiatives to ensure students' well-being, actively monitoring living conditions, facilities, and academic support across campuses, with a focus on resolving any issues promptly.

- Lead and manage a team of welfare associates stationed at various Edoofa campuses, ensuring consistent delivery of services and support. Conduct regular check-ins, provide strategic guidance, and ensure all team members are aligned with organizational objectives.

- Act as the primary liaison between students and campus stakeholders/owners, facilitating strong partnerships to deliver effective services and high-quality experiences that align with institutional goals.

- Represent and promote the Edoofa brand across campuses, building and maintaining strong rapport with college administrators and officials, enhancing the institution's relationship with its student body and broader community.

- Ensure students meet all university admission deadlines, facilitating communication between students and institutions, and optimizing formalities to streamline the admission process.

- Work closely with the Admissions team to address administrative queries, provide visa process guidance, and ensure compliance with university and government regulations.
