Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Application Security Engineer with expertise in Threat Modeling and VAPT to enhance our security posture. The ideal candidate will proactively identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and collaborate with development teams to build secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Threat Modeling to identify security risks, assess attack vectors, and provide mitigation strategies.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) for applications, networks, and cloud environments.
• Analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.
• Work closely with development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry standards (OWASP, CIS, SANS, MITRE).
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, frameworks, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in incident response, including security breach investigations and post-incident analysis.
• Assist in security audits and risk assessments for internal and third-party applications.
• Develop and maintain security tools, automation scripts, and processes to enhance application security.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Threat Modeling, VAPT, and Risk Assessment.
• Strong understanding of security review processes, attack surface analysis, and mitigation techniques.
• Expertise in security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, or similar.
• Strong analytical and monitoring skills to detect and mitigate security threats.
• Experience in developer security awareness training and integrating security into SDLC.
• Knowledge of third-party security assessments and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in Application Security, Mobile Security, and Penetration Testing.
• Preferred: Bug bounty experience, responsible disclosure, and Hall of Fame acknowledgments.
