Job Title: Talend Developer (SQL & GCP Cloud)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer with expertise in SQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines using Talend, integrating data from multiple sources, and leveraging GCP services for efficient data processing and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend for data integration, transformation, and migration.
• Work with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, etc.) to write complex queries, optimize performance, and ensure data integrity.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Dataflow, and Pub/Sub for data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Talend jobs, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and security within the ETL processes.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development with Talend (Open Studio, Data Integration, or Talend Cloud).
• Strong expertise in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries for relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation and workflow management.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
