Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with a deep understanding of the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and interactive dashboards while leveraging advanced data modeling and reporting techniques.

This role involves collaborating with business teams to deliver actionable insights and optimize data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Power BI Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy dynamic Power BI dashboards and paginated reports.

- Leverage advanced Power BI features like bookmarks, drill-through, and parameters to create interactive user experiences.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) for secure reporting.

2. Data Modeling & Transformation :

- Develop robust data models using Power BI and Azure Analysis Services.

- Perform complex data transformations with Power Query (M) and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

- Optimize datasets for performance and scalability.

3. Integration & Automation :

- Integrate Power BI with Microsoft technologies such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.

- Automate reporting processes with Power Automate and integrate workflows with Microsoft Teams and Power Apps.

4. Data Governance & Security :

- Implement data governance standards for Power BI usage, including compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulations.

- Enforce governance policies for workspace management, dataset certification, and usage monitoring via Power BI Admin Portal.

5. Collaboration & Communication :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements, ensuring solutions align with strategic goals.

- Present insights and train business users on self-service analytics in Power BI.

6. Advanced Analytics :

- Use AI features in Power BI, such as cognitive services, predictive analysis, and anomaly detection.

- Integrate Azure Machine Learning models into Power BI for advanced forecasting and decision-making.

7. Documentation & Mentorship :

- Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards, data models, and ETL processes.

- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Experience : 8+ years in BI development, data analysis, or a related role with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.

- Extensive experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Experience in using the Power BI Service, including gateways, workspaces, and dataflows.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Azure DevOps for collaborative development.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical abilities.

- The candidate works directly with the client and reports into him.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Azure Data Engineer Associate.

- Familiarity with other Microsoft tools such as Excel Power Pivot, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Teams.

- Experience embedding Power BI dashboards into third-party applications or custom solutions.

- Knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services for advanced analytics
