API Procurement Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) for pharmaceuticals & nutraceuticals from various sources, including domestic and international markets.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
  
• Plan and coordinate purchase requirements to meet business needs, ensuring effective inventory management and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain optimization.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to procurement processes.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-10 years of experience in API procurement for Pharmaceuticals & Raw Materials for Nutraceuticals in the pharmaceutical industry.
  
• Strong understanding of Purchase Management, Purchase Vendor Development, Purchase Planning, Procurement Planning, Supply Chain Development skills.
  
• Ability to analyze data effectively to inform strategic decisions on supplier selection and contract negotiations.
