Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of the financial landscape in India, as well as demonstrated expertise in managing the financial aspects of an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The CFO will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance while aligning with our strategic growth objectives, particularly in preparation for and after the IPO.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership:

• Develop and execute the companys financial strategy to drive business growth and profitability.
• Provide leadership to the finance department, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance.
• Manage investor relations and communicate the company’s financial performance to stakeholders, including shareholders, analysts, and the board.

IPO Readiness & Execution:

• Lead the process of preparing the company for an IPO, including financial reporting, auditing, and compliance with SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) and other regulatory bodies.
• Work closely with external advisors (investment bankers, auditors, and legal teams) to ensure smooth execution of the IPO process.
• Establish financial systems and controls required to meet the public company standards post-IPO.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of necessary documents and disclosures for the IPO.

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Oversee all financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, and financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) if applicable.
• Analyze financial performance and present insights to senior management and the board.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying risks and opportunities to improve profitability.

Capital Allocation & Risk Management:

• Optimize the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support the growth strategy.
• Oversee risk management processes, including financial, operational, and market risks, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement strategies for cost management and improving margins without compromising product quality.

Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:

• Ensure full compliance with relevant financial and regulatory laws, including the Companies Act, Goods and Services Tax (GST), SEBI guidelines, and others.
• Manage internal and external audits, and ensure that financial statements and reports adhere to Indian and international accounting standards.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance / CPA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (CFO or equivalent) in the relevant field.
• Proven track record of managing the financial operations of a successful IPO process, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, pricing models, supply chain dynamics, and market challenges.
