Senior Project Manager

About the role :

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager who will support to champion the projects, teams, and team members using scrum methodologies and agile principles.

The candidate will be reporting to the Delivery Program Manager. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing digital product projects from initiation to completion to assist Thence meet its mission for global expansion & growth with a high performing delivery team..

Responsibilities :

The Senior Project Manager's responsibilities will include but not limited to :

- Work with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals and charter, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

- Apply project management tools/techniques

- Drive project-related change management

- Manage multiple stakeholders, align on common goals, communicate risks, and run effective meetings for expectation setting.

- Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule

- Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables.

- Effective resource utilisation and time management

- Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges of your projects

- Assist the Senior Management with the relevant reporting and project dashboard

- Demonstrate strong capabilities to engage directly with Product Consultant, Designers on strategy and be able to pivot to granular detail within working teams

- Work with a Product Consultant to establish a project plan, facilitate requirements gathering, drive the creation of integrated project plans and ensure the team is aware of key milestone dates.

- Integrate, synthesize and maintain project/program documentation from multiple teams

- Facilitate relationships between teams, move programs forward, find resources, raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress

- Drive scrum meetings, standup calls and ensure the sprint plans are adhered to

Ideal Fit :

Qualifications and Experience :

- At least 6+ years of experience in the capacity of Project Manager

- Must have handled multiple projects simultaneously

- Must have worked with a team of 30+ members across functions (BA/ Tech/Design/Product)

Brownie points for :

- Any additional certification in agile and scrum methodologies

- Prior experience in Clickup

Skillset and prior experience required :

- An efficient task master

- Good with Excel/Google sheet Dashboarding and reporting. Data crunching and data-based decision making

- Apt in Project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, ClickUp or similar

- Excellent communication and mentoring skills

- Experience applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
