IT Sales and Hardware Repair Specialist
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IT Sales and Hardware Repair Specialist to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position is designed for a professional who has a strong background in selling IT hardware and software solutions, combined with hands-on expertise in repairing and maintaining IT hardware. The ideal candidate will not only be a skilled salesperson but will also possess the technical know-how to provide IT hardware repair services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
Promote and sell a range of IT Hardware and Software Solutions, including desktops, laptops, servers, networking equipment, and related peripherals.
Identify, develop, and nurture new sales opportunities within the IT hardware and software sector.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering tailored solutions based on their IT needs.
Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to clients.
Prepare and deliver customized sales proposals and quotes, ensuring competitive pricing.
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring the best possible outcomes for both the customer and the company.
Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and competitive offerings to effectively sell IT solutions.
Achieve sales targets and KPIs consistently, contributing to company growth.
IT Hardware Repair Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various IT hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
Install, upgrade, and configure hardware systems and peripherals.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure hardware is functioning optimally for clients.
Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting and repair support to clients as needed.
Manage repair requests and provide accurate documentation of service requests, repairs, and resolutions.
Work with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain necessary parts and components for repairs.
Offer guidance and training to customers on proper hardware maintenance and usage.
Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT hardware and software sales, combined with hands-on experience in IT hardware repair and maintenance.
Education: Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, networking equipment, servers) and software solutions (operating systems, applications).
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with experience in diagnosing hardware failures and performing repairs.
Familiarity with IT network infrastructure, peripherals, and system configurations.
Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ticketing systems) is a plus.
Sales Skills:
Proven experience in IT product sales, including the ability to assess customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to close sales deals and exceed sales targets.
Personal Traits:
Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
