Principal Engineer, R&D Validation

• Develop and implement validation strategies for automotive systems, including current, voltage, temperature, position, and cell balancer devices, ensuring alignment with automotive standards (e.g., ASIL-C, ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Lead the design and execution of hardware, software, and system-level tests to validate the performance, safety, and reliability of battery management functions like SOC estimation, thermal management, and fault detection.
• Conduct functional, environmental, and durability testing to ensure compliance with automotive standards (e.g., thermal testing).
• Document validation results and provide detailed reports to cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication of findings.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for identified issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Mentor validation engineers, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and collaborate with design, ATE, system engineering, and marketing teams to resolve validation challenges while ensuring compliance with automotive safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949).

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor post silicon validation of automotive electronic systems, with a focus on battery management systems (IVT sensors).
• Strong expertise in using NI-PXI setups (SMU, DPE, PPMU, FGEN, Scope, Relay drivers, ADC/DAC modules), Audio Precision instruments, FPGA platforms, debug setups, EMI/EMC concepts, PCB design tools, data analysis, report generation tools, and Python scripting
• Expertise in automotive validation standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., CAN, LIN, MATLAB/Simulink, Vector tools).
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and experience in safety-critical systems validation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, collaborative with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in written and verbal communication in English to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
