AmpsTek - Senior React.js Developer - Javascript/TypeScript (7-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain highly interactive and user-friendly interfaces using React (17.02+) and Redux.

- Leverage your expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript to write clean, modular, and testable code that adheres to best practices.

- Collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to translate requirements into efficient and user-centric front-end solutions.

- Develop and implement a strong understanding of CSS best practices to ensure pixel-perfect rendering across different browsers.

- Integrate with RESTful APIs and potentially GraphQL for data fetching and manipulation. (GraphQL experience is a plus!)

- Champion accessibility best practices to ensure a seamless user experience for everyone.

- Write unit and integration tests using TDD or other testing methodologies.

- Participate in code reviews and continuously strive to improve code quality.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end trends and technologies, demonstrating a willingness to learn new tools.

- Analyze, plan, and estimate project requirements, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.

- Maintain a strong focus on security best practices throughout the development process.

- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Thrive in a collaborative work environment and work effectively within established Agile methodologies (preferably SaFe).

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on front-end technologies.

- In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and developing user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, React (17.02+), and Redux.

- Experience and passion for working with HTML and CSS.

- Familiarity with REST and RESTful APIs, with a bonus for GraphQL experience.

- (Nice to have) Experience with Right-to-Left (RTL) layouts.

- (Nice to have) Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and Entity Framework Core (EF Core).

- Strong understanding of accessibility principles and best practices.

- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and other testing methodologies.

- A commitment to writing clean, modular, and well-documented code with consistent style.

- Solid knowledge of design and architectural patterns.

- Ability to analyze, plan, and estimate project requirements, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

- Commitment to security best practices throughout the development life cycle.

- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, coupled with a problem-solving mindset.

- Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English.

- Familiarity with Agile development practices, preferably SaFe.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
