Data Scientist - Machine Learning (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources (structured and unstructured).

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

- Develop and implement data pipelines for efficient data ingestion and transformation.

- Design and implement machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis, etc.) to solve business problems.

- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques.

- Tune and optimize models for accuracy and efficiency.

- Develop and implement feature engineering strategies to improve model performance.

- Deploy machine learning models into production environments.

- Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed.

- Develop and maintain documentation for models and processes.

- Translate complex analytical findings into clear and concise presentations for stakeholders.

- Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

- Research and experiment with new algorithms and techniques.

- Contribute to the development of innovative data science solutions.

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

- Work closely with data engineers, software engineers, and product managers to deliver impactful projects.

Qualifications :

Education : Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience :

- 4-8 years of experience in a data science role.

- Proven track record of developing and deploying successful machine learning models.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (essential) and R.

- Strong knowledge of machine learning libraries and frameworks (e., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Experience with SQL and relational databases.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
