Frontend Developer (React)

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer with in-depth expertise in React.js, modern UI/UX development, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, high-performing user interfaces, collaborating closely with backend teams, and ensuring a seamless user experience. A strong background in CSS frameworks, design systems, and state management is essential. Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus but not mandatory. This is a contract-based role requiring full-time hours, with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, eight hours per day, in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React.js.
• Create pixel-perfect UI components using Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap.
• Implement state management solutions like Redux for complex applications.
• Work closely with designers to implement Figma designs with high fidelity.
• Optimize UI performance through lazy loading, memoization, and efficient rendering techniques.
• Develop and maintain component libraries and design systems for consistency across applications.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest or React Testing Library.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs endpoints.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in React.js and front-end development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frontend patterns.
• Hands-on experience with CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (code-splitting, lazy loading, SSR, etc.).
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Git, Webpack, Vite, Babel, and build optimization techniques.
• Exposure to front-end testing tools (Jest or React Testing Library).
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for UI/UX details.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with Figma for UI implementation.
• Background in Medical, AI-driven applications, or data visualization.
• Integration of Audio APIs
