Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher to conduct research in the
fields of Learning Engineering and technology-enhanced learning. The main focus
should be on supporting learning and teaching through cutting-edge educational
technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Simulations.
The candidate should have prior experience in the design, development, and
evaluation of simulation-based learning, educational technologies, and data
analytics. The candidate should have a proven track record of publishing research in
reputable journals (e.g Computers and Education, BJET, JCSCL, etc.) and
important conferences such as EC-TEL, LAK, ICALT, CSCL.

Responsibilities
Conduct research in Education technologies focussed on VR, AR, and
simulation-based learning and teaching.
Design and develop simulations for educational purposes
Evaluate the effectiveness of simulation-based learning in various educational
contexts
Publish research in reputable journals and present findings at important
conferences
Collaborate with other researchers and educators to advance the field of
simulation-based learning and teaching

Qualifications
PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Computer Science, Human-
Computer Interaction)

Strong background in VR, AR, and simulation-based learning and teaching
Strong experience in using and implementing research methodologies of
Technology Enhanced Learning like Design-based Research, and
Participatory Design
Proven track record of publishing research in reputable journals and
presenting at important conferences

learning
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
