Job Description:-

A computer lab assistant in a university helps students, faculty, and staff use the computer lab, and ensures the lab is safe and clean. They also provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the lab's equipment.

Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support: Help users with software, hardware, and peripherals.
2. Troubleshoot: Diagnose and fix basic computer issues.
3. Maintain the lab: Keep the lab clean and safe, and perform minor repairs.
4. Enforce policies: Make sure users follow the lab's rules and procedures.
5. Provide training: Teach users how to use the equipment and software.
6. Monitor usage: Track how many people use the lab, what classes they're taking, and how much paper they use.
7. Maintain inventory: Keep track of supplies and equipment, and order new supplies when needed.
8. Report issues: Contact the help desk or maintenance staff when needed.
9. Maintain records: Keep records of maintenance and repair calls, and other activities in the lab.
