Job Title: Prototype and Design Engineer

(Furniture/Retail, Packaging, Digital Signage)

Location: New Delhi / Noida

CTC: ₹3-6 LPA (Fixed) + Incentives + Company ESOPs

Role Overview:

We are looking for Prototype Engineers with expertise in different industries Furniture/Retail, Packaging, and Digital Signage. Each will be responsible for translating innovative product designs into functional prototypes, identifying manufacturing feasibility, and ensuring smooth product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert conceptual product designs into working prototypes in collaboration with design teams, workforce and other stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks early and propose alternative methods for efficient prototyping and manufacturability.
• Improve product quality by recommending better materials, processes, or design alternatives.
• Support product development by advising on modifications, testing feasibility, and optimizing for manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising in new product development and prototyping.

Industry-Specific Expertise:

🔹 Prototype Engineer Furniture/Retail Industry

• Experience with wood, MDF, ply, board materials, laminates, hardware, and modular furniture.
• Knowledge of retail fixtures, modular kitchen construction, and store fit-outs.
• Familiarity with carpentry tools, paint, edge banding, and finishing processes

🔹 Prototype Engineer – Packaging Industry

• Expertise in paperboard, corrugated boxes, carton packaging, and material strength.
• Understanding of die-cutting, folding, gluing, printing, and finishing processes.
• Familiarity with packaging testing methods (drop tests, compression, durability, etc.)

🔹 Prototype Engineer – Digital Screen Industry

• Experience with digital panels, LED screens, interactive kiosks, and electronic enclosures.
• Understanding of wiring, connectivity, power supply, cooling, and display panel integration.
• Knowledge of mounting structures, installation methods, and protective casings.

Requirements:

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4-10 years of experience in production, New Product Development (NPD) or prototyping.
• Ability to translate technical ideas into practical working models.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Knowledge of measurement tools and testing methods.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative attitude.
• Leadership to manage workforce
