Job Description.

Engineer Data Transformation.

Minimum Qualifications.

3+ years of Informatica or similar Data Transformation software development experience.

Strong working knowledge of DW/ETL&BI Concepts (dimensional modeling and relational databases).

Demonstrate data warehouse project delivery experience.

Experience in architecting and developing solutions for medium to large warehouses, leveraging Informatica and Microstrategy or other reporting tools..

Proficient with performance techniques and tuning in large scale Data Warehouses.

Writing code, unit tests, working on specs, automation, conducting code reviews and testing..

Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational database technologies such as Yellowbrick, Oracle, MS SQL, SingleStore (MemSQL), and PostgreSQL..

Familiarity with environments that have multi-terabytes of data..

Interpret dimensional models as well as relationship models.

Demonstrate experience in Agile development and application design..

Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners and effectively convey and promote solutions..

Ability to drive results with an emphasis on reducing cycle time and increasing speed to market of new capabilities and enhancements.

Able to seize opportunities to advance capabilities and use of technology tool suite..

Preferred Qualifications.

Hands-on expertise with other business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, tableau, etc.,.

Understanding of the cloud-based solutions (GCP, etc.,).

Experience in key technical design documentation that provides architectural / process design..

An active member of an engineering team that designs and develops software applications providing proactive thought leadership manifesting in effective capability solutions that adhere to architecture guidelines..

Experience in platform(s) support managing the business process and technical aspects by overseeing the health and well-being of the Application..

Strong analytical and problem-solving, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset..

Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues in simple terms to a diverse audience.

Assist team members in the completion of assigned tasks.

Lead training sessions and create comprehensive documentation to empower end users to leverage the Business Intelligence capabilities effectively.

Proficiency in simple scripting commands using programming languages such as Python.
