Manage and lead design, development, and maintenance projects, to meet their Scope, Quality, Time, and Budget. Responsible for Team and People management

Candidate is expected to be well versed with Technology, Project Management and People management. All these three aspects are equally important.

Technical / Functional Leadership:
Well versed in the technologies - Microservices, Java, Spring/Springboot, Relational DB (Oracle/PostgreSQL), Tomcat, etc.
Actively participating in requirements overview for new Features with Product Owners. Ensuring R&D views from functional/ non-functional / technical perspective are expressed and conveyed in shaping the product architecture.
Participating in Design/Solution sessions with Architects and Tech Leads to build the design of new features aligning with architecture roadmap of product.
Ensuring end-to-end integration view is aligned with all stakeholders and gaps are identified and worked upon.
Ensuring best engineering practices like DevOps, UT coverage, Code Quality, NFRs, etc. are implemented in team.
Defining high standards for technology excellence in R&D Dev team and pushing Tech Leads & Architects to achieve the same.
Knowhow of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Public Cloud (AWS/Azure) is a bonus.

Project Management:
Building the end-to-end Project Plan for Product release
Managing capacity for the scope planned for a release
Closing integration plans with other teams
Ensuring team s backlog is managed properly and it is aligned with all stakeholders
Tracking the progress of the development plan
Controlling the changes in the plan
Identifying risks and building mitigation plans
Keeping stakeholders updated with proper status

People Management:
Ensuring Team is on-board and understand the overall roadmap of the product
Right and appropriate Communication with team members
Managing expectations of team members related to work, HR aspects
Motivating the team and keeping the moral high in the team
Building Trust environment in the team
Empowering Teams to take lead and deliver the features
