Ambit - Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA (5-7 yrs)

The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry.

This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision-making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary.

Expected Relevant Years of Experience: 5 years and above.

Education Qualification Required: Chartered Accountant.

Reports to the Director of Finance & Accounts.

Functional:

- Strong knowledge in IndAS accounting and should have worked in an Indian environment.

- Proficient with tax laws (income tax and GST).

- Well-versed in the provisions of the Companies Act impacting financials.

- Expertise in MS-Office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Standalone and Consolidated financial statements as per IndAS provisions.

- Independent handling of Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits.

- Accounts finalization, Ledger Scrutiny, and review of bank reconciliations.

- Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly closing.

Variance Analysis:

- Assistance in tax assessments, filing of various forms, and information with tax departments.

- Review of accounting and tax returns of foreign subsidiaries.

- Preparation of various certificates as per the provisions of Income tax and company law.

- Review of processes, identification of gaps, finding out alternate efficient ways of handling it, and its implementation.

- Review of vendor payments.
