About the Opportunity:

We are a Bangalore based Quantitative trading firm specializing in Index and single stock strategies. We are seeking an experienced Market Trader with sound risk management and hedging skills to join our team. You will manage a large Long Short trading portfolio which is leveraged with short holding periods, therefore the need to dynamically hedge the portfolio and optimize capital deployment. The ideal candidate will need to have a successful track record in trading on NSE & BSE and must have prior experience of managing portfolios in excess of 5 Crores with a successful and profitable track record. Should have prior experience in short gamma, statistical arbitrage, mean reversion, corelation and pairs trading strategies.

This is a high-stake role where you will play a pivotal part in driving the success of our trading strategies while focusing on Risk Management of the Portfolio and maximizing returns on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement leveraged trading strategies to maximize returns with sound risk management.

Execute trades, manage risk of large portfolios and capital.

Monitor market conditions, identify trading opportunities, and execute strategies in real-time.

Work closely with the team to optimize and execute automated trading strategies and improve overall performance.

Manage risk across portfolios, ensuring proper stops and limits are in place to minimize potential losses.

Provide daily reports on trading performance, market movements, and overall profitability.

Stay up-to-date with market trends, changes in regulations, and technological advancements that can impact trading performance.

Analyze market data to refine trading strategies and make informed decisions quickly under pressure.

Collaborate with the team to continuously improve trading processes and enhance performance.

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum 4-8 years of experience trading on NSE & BSE, with a proven & profitable track record

Deep understanding and proficiency in trading platforms (NEAT, ODIN, Spider, GreekSoft etc.) with the ability to execute trades in real-time, risk management systems, and market analysis tools

Strong knowledge of leveraged trading, with experience in managing high-value trading accounts.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, where decisions must be made quickly and accurately.

Fluent in English, with strong communication skills to collaborate

Experience in algorithmic trading
